Nikon Z9 full-frame mirrorless camera launched at Rs 4,75,995

Nikon has announced its latest fully-frame, mirrorless Z9 camera in India priced at Rs. 4,75,995. According to Nikon dual-Stream technology that has 45.7 pixels stackable CMOS sensor, which can deliver 12 times faster reading of still images and processing the images displayed for the EVF/monitor as well as still images to record. 

It comes with an 3.2-inch four-axis horizontal and vertical tilting touchscreen image monitor. It uses deep learning technology which is said to offer the largest range of subject detection simultaneously for vehicles, animals, and humans. It also claims to monitor nine subjects simultaneously, both in videos and stills, and without having to switch back and forth to change settings.

The subject detection function works with large-area AF (S) as well as (L) as well as auto-area tracking, and 3D-tracking when video recording. The camera can also provide continuous 120 fps shooting.

The Z9 camera can record video in 4K/30p/60p/120p and 8K30p. The company claims that the camera has been specifically designed to effectively disperse heat, allowing users to record at 8K30p up to one hundred and fifty-five minutes. It is also possible to record in 4K and have the frame size and frame speed ranging from 24p up to 120p that are available in a variety of formats.

For connections, the camera equipped with Wi-Fi, which allows direct transfer of images with no wireless transmitter, WT-6. Additionally, the image processing engine EXPEED 7 is claimed to give a speedy communication experience using both wireless and wired internet.
